Create and review marketplace image sets
Bind approved images to the correct product and variant, check marketplace requirements, and export reviewed files.
Start without API credentials
Open Marketplace Content Studio from the catalog. You can start with sample marketplace data in the Demo workspace or import the supported product and variant fields from CSV/XLSX. File import does not require marketplace API credentials. Confirm identifiers, visible variant values and source freshness before creating media.
Choose the product and visible variant
- 1
Select the product, listing and visible variant that the images must represent.
- 2
Check brand, color, size, packaging and other approved attributes; do not add an attribute that is absent from product data.
- 3
If facts changed after the session started, refresh and confirm the current version before continuing.
Add authorized source images
- 1
Upload PNG or JPEG files and assign each image a role such as main image, detail or packaging.
- 2
Record whether the business owns the image, has a license, or created it with AI, plus a useful rights reference.
- 3
Remove buyer data, credentials and unrelated personal information before upload.
Create the image set
Deterministic tools can prepare dimensions and marketplace format. AI image tools can make a requested edit when enabled for the workspace. Templates and brand kits help teams repeat approved composition and style, but they cannot invent product facts or override validation rules.
Validate, review and revise
- 1
Run the effective validation rules shown for the selected marketplace and date.
- 2
Resolve blocking findings before approval; warnings still require review.
- 3
Approve, reject or request a revision. A later revision does not silently replace an approved file.
Review outcomes without overstating causation
The Outcomes view places approved media revisions on a timeline and compares bounded before-and-after windows using the available marketplace evidence. Each result is labelled as a descriptive association or, only when experiment requirements are satisfied, controlled evidence. Association is not causation: a change after a media revision does not by itself prove that the revision caused the outcome.
The view keeps missing, censored, stockout, contaminated, stale and insufficient-data states explicit. Experiment guardrails, assignment integrity and the evidence export help a reviewer inspect the basis of the result without converting unavailable values to zero.
Library, batches and recovery
The media library keeps permitted sources, completed media and review status for the workspace. Batch work should preserve product and variant bindings for every item. If AI image tools are temporarily unavailable, catalog selection, the library, deterministic preparation, validation and completed exports remain available. Retry only failed work; completed media should not be charged or processed again automatically.
Export and publication boundary
Export approved files as a manual ZIP package and upload them through the marketplace process your team controls. Completed media is not publication. Direct marketplace publication is unavailable in this workflow and requires a separate confirmed capability.
Privacy, deletion and support
Access follows the active workspace and role. Use the media-library controls and support process for retention or deletion requests; backup retention may differ from the visible library. For support, provide the workspace, product, variant, time, visible error and safe request reference. Never provide passwords or API keys.
